Lists

Keep structured records such as clients, equipment, vendors or checklists in a table whose columns you define.

Not everything your team tracks is a task. A list is a table of entries with columns you choose. Use lists for:

  • Reference data, like Vendors (name, contact, phone, contract end date) or Equipment (item, serial number, assigned person, purchase date)
  • Checklists, like Packing list or Launch checklist, where you tick each entry off
  • Anything a task might point at. A task can have a List custom field that links to an entry, such as the client a job is for. See Field types.

How lists are organised

A list has two parts:

  1. Fields, which are the columns. Every entry in the list has the same fields. You set them up on the list's Details tab.
  2. Entries, which are the rows. You add and edit them on the Entries tab.

The Lists page shows each list with its Total Entries. Expand a row to preview its entries, or select it to open the list.
