Find and subscribe to a service

Subscriber

Browse the catalogue, check what a service includes and subscribe.

Find a service

Open Service Hub and stay on All Services. Narrow the catalogue with:

  • Search by name or description
  • Provider: services from one organisation
  • Category and Subcategory

Select a service's card to open it.

Check what's included

A service's page shows who provides it, its description, and every template it includes, grouped into Task Templates, List Templates, Project Templates and Custom Form Templates. Select a template to preview it before you subscribe.

Subscribe

Start

Select Subscribe Now. If the service asks some questions first, the button says Get Started.

Choose the provider's access

Answer What can this provider do in your workspace? by picking No access, View only or Can edit. There's no default, so you have to choose. See Control provider access.

Answer the intake questions

If the service has an intake form, answer its questions. Your answers are written into the tasks and projects it creates. For example, a question Which vehicle? might fill in Book a service for the Ford Transit.

Confirm

Select Submit & Subscribe.

What happens when you subscribe

  • Lists and forms in the service are copied into your workspace.
  • Tasks and projects are created. A recurring one creates its first record straight away, then keeps to its interval, counted from today.
  • New tasks and projects get your workspace's default status and priority, are assigned to the person who subscribed, and are filed as part of the service. See Work with service records.
  • The provider organisation is added to your workspace as a service member, so it can be assigned work and mentioned. It isn't a person, and it doesn't count as a user.

The service's button now says Subscribed, and it appears under My Subscriptions.

If setup fails

Subscribing needs your workspace to have a default task status, project status and priority (see Settings). If one is missing, the subscription is cancelled rather than half set up. Add the default and try again.
